That's what life is right? A series of leaps into the unknown, from heights that intimidate us, but also challenge us to rise to the occasion. How many times have we thought we'd fail, and actually soared without even thinking about it? I hope your answer is one you're proud of. And if not, I hope this encourages you to do something about it!
Over the past 3 years I really felt the need to take care of my mental health. I was frustrated working at a place where I felt my growth plateaued, not earning what I thought I was worth and I was going through some personal things which felt huge. I was also comfortable, safe in what I did know. So I looked elsewhere, found a gig, filled with hope, I jumped for almost the same pay. Lol, what a joke my darling, one of the worst work experiences I've encountered. Needless to say, my mental health deteriorated and out I got.
Fast forward to 2020, I was reminded of my dream to start a podcast and say some stuff. Well, I did that about halfway into the year, in the middle of a pandemic! For a starter, it was well received and love was shown. Season 1 is available on Apple iTunes, Spotify and other streaming platforms. Feel free to follow on Instagram and show some love there too.
I also got into some social media management, designed logos and did some work for a Black Friday campaign. And now this blog. I know the name is something quite peculiar, but I hope it keeps you curious enough to stick with me and see where it goes. Small leaps get you ready for the really big ones, thank you God and 2020! I am looking forward to seeing what else I can do. What are you looking forward to?
